Description: Tiefeng’s Diethyl Dithiocarbamate is a white to yellowish grey substance coming in crystal or powder form.Diethyl Dithiocarbamate is soluble in water and acidic solutions.  

Principal uses:

Diethyl Dithiocarbamate is extremely effective collector for a range of sulfide minerals especially for copper, lead and antimony sulfides.  In the tests our specialist R&D team here at Tiefeng have done, Tiefeng’s Diethyl Dithiocarbamate showed better performance than both; xanthates and other dithiocarbamates.  

Tiefeng’s Diethyl Dithiocarbamate works quickly with great selectivity, especially in conditions of high alkalinity.  Diethyl Dithiocarbamate can also greatly improve separation of lead minerals from zinc minerals.  

Generally when using Diethyl Dithiocarbamate in a flotation circuit, not much is needed and it can even eliminate the need for cyanide.  

Diethyl Dithiocarbamate can also be used as an accelerator in the vulcanisation (hardening process) of rubber.
